British Institute of Cleaning Science
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) are recognised as the most credible Accreditation and Awarding body for training within the cleaning industry. In 2011 they celebrate a Golden Anniversary of 50 years as an industry leading organisation, but also more recently made some major changes to the way in which BICSc Training Providers are given license to undertake Accredited Training and Assessment.
In 2010 BICSc also became Accredited by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) - previously QCA - in England, the Department for Children, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.

NICE have designed and created a completely new Apprenticeship scheme for the cleaning industry which includes training accredited to the British Institute of Cleaning Science. We have a very detailed knowledge of the industry and resources to ensure all employers can increase their workforce skills to operate efficiently and effectively.
HSE
The official Government organisation for enforcing health and safety legislation in the UK.
A wealth of information can be found on their web site, including many downloadable documents to help employers and individuals deal with health and safety in the workplace.
Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the Chartered body for health and safety professionals. They are committed to cutting down the number of people who die or are made ill by what they do for a living. Across the world, two million people die every year as a result of health and safety failures. In the European Union alone, someone dies every three and a half minutes. When it comes to health and safety, only advice from qualified, experienced and skilled professionals will do. IOSH was founded in 1945 and is a registered charity.
Cleaning & Hygiene Today
Cleaning Hygiene Today (CHT) recognises that the cleaning and hygiene industries have changed and demands of the sector are evolving constantly. This is to overcome the threat of viruses and infections, as well as conquering the perception that cleaning is a second-string vocation. We examine the problems service providers face on a daily basis, and how they are overcome.
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
An organisation that has accredited training courses and memberships, with regional groups and contacts that hold meetings and give support to their members.
NICE offer several training courses accredited via the CIEH and have close connections with key individuals with a wealth of knowledge on the management of environmental health in business.

Facilities Management Journal (FMJ) is the pre-eminent education resource for the facilities management sector. Janitorial Express
A leading janitorial and hygiene supplies company in Central London, located just a mile from the exciting new 67 acre Kings Cross Redevelopment site and only a couple of miles from Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium. Gary Fage, the Chief Executive of Janitorial Express is a Jangro Board member, and his company are also a key member of the UK wide organisation. NICE have recently begun making provision of BICSc Accredited Training at the facility within the premises of Janitorial Express, making this facility and our services available to all clients and customers in Central London.
Ocean Corporate Hygiene
One of the largest independent janitorial suppliers in the South. Supporting both contractors and facilities management companies throughout the UK offer in excess of 3500 cleaning related products. In addition they also provide washroom hygiene systems and a feminine hygiene service, building on an established reputation for delivering both a professional and dependable service. NICE began a partnership arrangement with Ocean Corporate Hygiene in 2010, making their purpose built training facility and our services available to all clients and customers in South London and the surrounding areas.
NEBOSH
The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) was formed in 1979 as an independent examining board and awarding body with charitable status. They offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, vocationally-related qualifications designed to meet the health, safety, environmental and risk management needs of all places of work in both the private and public sectors. Courses leading to NEBOSH qualifications attract around 30,000 candidates annually and are offered by over 400 course providers in 80 countries around the world.
ITC
iTC First Aid Ltd is an expanding recognised awarding body that develops qualifications and approves supports and verifies the activity of iTC Providers and Centres delivering environment specific, well resourced, tailored first aid training to all sectors. Awarding Bodies develop qualifications that can become part of the Qualification Credit Framework. First Aid qualification regulation has recently fallen within the remit of the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual). Immediate Temporary Care is the HSE approved trading name of iTC First Aid Ltd and has the HSE approval number (1670/96) that is required to deliver First Aid at Work qualifications.

Health & Safety Matters
