In addition to being well established as a training organisation NICE has also begun to provide bespoke services to businesses that are seeking help and advice regarding Environmental Health and Safety. Our consultants have a great deal of experience in the enforcement sector as well as working with private companies and so are ideally positioned to give unbiased and reliable advice on what the inspector would be expecting to see during a visit to business premises.

We can advise on practical details of Health, Hygiene and Safety as they relate to what activities are taking place at your business, but also on the management of Health, Safety and Food Hygiene which has now become the main focus of the inspectors’ work.

We are also able to support you or even communicate directly with the inspector on your behalf regarding letters or notices you have received. Where an appointment has been arranged we can support you at meetings with the inspector.

Although not qualified lawyers our consultants are also able to support you during any legal proceedings that may take place and may actually be able to provide advice to help you meet legal obligations without incurring undue expense, such as solicitors’ fees.

Our consultants are very familiar with the local and National Food Hygiene Rating Systems, many of these now include a copy of your last annual inspection report, that sometimes contain a slightly daunting list of tasks and improvements, this being another area we can very much help with giving advice and guidance from a neutral perspective.
